Indian Education Committee & Johnson O'Malley Meeting on Monday, May 3, 2021 in the Ft. Thomas High School Auditorium at 1:30 p.m. Parents welcome.
Dear Staff, Parents, and Community,
Yesterday Governor Ducey removed the statewide order that directed schools to require masks be worn. It is now up to each local school district to decide whether masks will be required for the final weeks of the school year. This decision came as a surprise to districts who were expecting to complete the school year under the mask mandate.
Safeguarding the health of our students and staff is our priority. Ft Thomas Unified School District has worked closely with county and tribal health officials through the pandemic. We will be conferring with these officials over the next few days before reaching a decision. For the immediate future masks will still be a requirement for students and staff.
Sincerely,
Shane Hawkins
